Job description

Work just one day per week (6.5 hours) while making a meaningful impact in the lives of women in your community.

Hope Clinic for Women is a faith-based, life-affirming organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to women. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about patient care, willing to learn limited obstetric sonography, and wants to be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Responsibilities:
Nursing Duties:
  • Conduct patient intakes and assess patient needs.
  • Perform pregnancy testing and explain results and procedures.
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with the Medical Director's standing orders.
  • Conduct laboratory testing as directed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Clean and maintain medical instruments and supplies.
  • Assist with chart audits and other nursing duties as assigned.
  • Attend required medical meetings and continuing education.
 
Sonography Duties:
(Training provided for qualified candidates)
  • Perform limited obstetric ultrasound examinations.
  • Accurately identify and document sonographic findings.
  • Communicate results to the Medical Director or supervising physician.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies.
  • Complete annual competency assessments and continuing education requirements.
 
Qualifications:
  • Current RN or BSN license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • At least one year of nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willing to complete Limited Obstetric Ultrasound Training and sign a retention agreement.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and standard office software.
  • Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused.
