  • Pay: $46,349.94
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, Night shifts, Holidays, and Weekends

Job Overview

Coordinates the activities of the hotel front office and related personnel, providing support to the General Manager. Ensures efficient operations, excellent guest satisfaction, and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise front office team members for efficient and smooth operations.
  • Provide outstanding customer care and maintain a friendly demeanor.
  • Respond professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Train, direct, and resolve issues for front desk team members.
  • Ensure accurate processing of hotel charges and invoices.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health regulations.
  • Correspond with group and travel agents for special requests.
  • Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with other departments.
  • Operate EPBX equipment and manage cash transactions.
  • Update and action the front office and hotel logbooks.
  • Follow guest check-in and security procedures.
  • Take responsibility in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience/training.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with planning and organizational abilities.
  • Computer and accounting knowledge.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and other required certifications.
