Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.

Job Summary

Assists in the design and scripting of radio, television, print, or social media messages to communicate University information to various constituencies for the Faculty of Sciences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Help generate, edit, and post content & media for the Faculty of Sciences.

  • Help curate the Faculty of Science, Biology, Psychology, and Health & Human Sciences webpages.

  • Work closely with Program leads, Dean, and Administrative Assistant.

  • Support the activities of writers, directors, managers, and other personnel throughout the production process.

  • Research production topics using the internet, video archives, and other informational sources.

  • Monitor post production processes to ensure accurate completion of details.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
