Job Summary:

Full-time position as a Manufacturing Application Engineer. Provides technical assistance with computing systems tailored to EV battery production. By leveraging computer skills and IT knowledge, along with a willingness to understand manufacturing scenarios, contributes significantly to the automation of processes in an EV battery manufacturing plant.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot IT and manufacturing systems based on requests from EV battery plants across North America. This includes maintaining regular

communication with plant teams and gathering feedback to support the

development and optimization of automated factory solutions.

• Provide clear and professional verbal, written communications in a multi-cultural environment (English/Korean) amongst IT members, IT systems vendors, and the customer. This includes preparing routine status reports, procedural guides, technical advice, and recommendations in written documents.

• Coordinate and support major system updates and implementations. Daily

monitoring to ensure overall system stability and reliability.

• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation as an IT Systems Specialist, based on the review of customer requirements and analysis of manufacturing systems

• Provide training & technical support to customers on the use of standardized

manufacturing systems.

• (On site) Implement and test factory automation software while communicating

with equipment engineers (PLC engineers).

• (On site / remote) Urgent system support through identification of production-

related issues and troubleshooting in a timely manner.

• Able to work in multi-cultural environments (English/Korean is a plus)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related fields (IT, Engineering, Computer science); or 3-year work experience in related field (Manufacturing, IT system management)

• Good customer service skills, communication skills and being able to work with a self-driven attitude.

• Strong analytical skills and being able to identify potential issues with various

related systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Years of experience: 1 senior manager level (7-10 years+), 1 junior level (0-5 years)

• Experience with database systems such as MS / Oracle SQL in a professional work environment.

• Knowledge of manufacturing application systems such as MES, WMS, ERP, MCS, and so forth.

• Demonstrates a willingness to work and develop a career in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving automated manufacturing environment.

• Understanding of MS Office and other standard software

• Bilingual as English and Korean fluency a plus

Travel Required:

• < 30%

• Length of Business Trips may vary (1 week ~ 5 weeks)
