In addition to managing the facility's safety program, the incumbent oversees employee safety training and supports the daily execution of safety and health activities to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations. This role may also support cross-facility collaboration, mentor other Safety Program Managers, and participate in enterprise-wide safety initiatives.
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant safety records, logs, reports, and regulatory documentation.
Manage the facility safety training program, including required training, alerts, bulletins, procedures, and contractor compliance requirements.
Educate, coach, and motivate employees and contractors on safe work practices while recognizing positive behaviors and addressing unsafe conditions and acts.
Partner with facility leadership to oversee contractor and temporary worker safety performance, qualifications, training, tools, and equipment.
Serve as the primary contact for occupational health and medical surveillance programs, including physical examinations, hearing conservation, respirator evaluations, and other required monitoring.
Support facility environmental compliance activities including inspections, permit requirements, reporting obligations, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Lead safety committees and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen safety culture.
