Description

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day execution of facility operations and maintenance services across the Jefferson Laboratories Complex. The position oversees maintenance, utilities, work control, service response, and workforce coordination supporting laboratories, animal facilities, administrative facilities, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Oversee steam, chilled water, potable water, wastewater, compressed air, and electrical systems.

Coordinate maintenance personnel and subcontractors.

Manage work orders, PM schedules, and service requests.

Support outages, shutdowns, and emergency operations.

Ensure operational readiness of campus infrastructure.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in laboratory, animal research, administrative, utility plant, mechanical, and outdoor environments. Position may require after-hours response, site visits, and support during emergencies.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, certifications, geographic considerations, and overall alignment with contract requirements. Bizzell offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

8+ years facility O&M experience.

5+ years supervisory experience.
