We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day facility operations, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. This role works closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with local standards.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance across multiple facilities in accordance with established schedules
  • Execute minor repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Clear plumbing stoppages and address sewage issues as needed
  • Assess maintenance issues to determine whether internal resolution or vendor support is required
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency equipment, and facility systems

Equipment & Inventory Management
  • Maintain and troubleshoot large equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts to ensure operational readiness
  • Manage facilities inventory and monitor equipment calibration schedules
  • Transport tools and equipment between facility locations as directed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work performed

General Facility Support
  • Assist with furniture relocation, space reconfigurations, and general facility clean-up
  • Perform janitorial duties in production areas as assigned
  • Support Office Manager with facility-related projects and tasks
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of facilities maintenance, warehouse, or similar hands-on work experience
  • Current forklift and scissor lift certification/experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools (skill saws, table saws, jig saws, drills, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation
  • Intermediate computer skills (email, work order systems, basic software)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Comfortable standing, walking, reaching, and performing physical labor throughout the workday
  • Valid Driver's License
  • U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environment
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience maintaining maintenance logs and work order documentation
  • Basic troubleshooting skills across multiple trade disciplines
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs

Level II: $21-$28/hr.
Level III: $26-$34/hr.
