Job Description
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational facility. This role supports building systems, equipment, and infrastructure through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections of buildings and equipment and report repair needs to management
  • Perform routine maintenance including HVAC filters, pumps, exhaust fans, lighting, plumbing, ducting, and fixtures
  • Complete and update work orders according to SOPs and communicate status with management
  • Identify, report, and correct hazardous conditions promptly
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools; submit purchase requests and warranty claims as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building or facility maintenance
  • Journeyman Electrician license or HVAC license preferred
  • Chemical handling and cleanroom experience a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand building control/automation systems preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in extreme weather conditions
