Hop Shops, a division of Valor Oil, is looking for a Facilities Associate to ensure that the Hop Shop and grounds stay tidy and operational.
Pay: $15.00 hourly
Schedule: Morning shift
Location: Reo, IN
Start date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
Exterior Grounds Maintenance: Maintain a clean and professional curb appeal by cleaning parking lots, pressure washing pump pads and sidewalks, and performing landscaping tasks like weeding and mulching.
Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for customers by promptly identifying and treating fuel or oil spills with absorbent materials and maintaining high sanitation standards for all exterior equipment.
Fuel Station & Pump Care: Execute specialized cleaning of fuel pumps and nozzles using degreasers, while managing the consistent replenishment of customer amenities like windshield washer fluid and paper towels.
Interior Facility Sanitation: Uphold strict cleanliness standards for the store interior, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing cooler doors and windows, and keeping the back room organized for efficient operations.
Inventory & General Operations: Support daily store needs by bagging ice, maintaining fountain drink supplies, managing waste removal, and providing general administrative or housekeeping support as needed.
Requirements
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk, soft drinks, beer, etc, at least once per shift.
  • The ability to stock shelves, coolers and displays and merchandise pulled forward at all times.
  • The ability to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
  • The ability to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, to lift and carry out trash containers and place them in an outside bin.
  • The ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 36 degrees for up to 30 minutes at a time.
