Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions for individuals and families facing serious illness, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic objectives and methods tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.
• Maintain consistent communication with your remote colleagues, sharing insights and collaborating on client cases to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Ensure all client records are meticulously kept up to date in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to remain informed about best practices and new interventions in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients receiving hospice care, providing crucial emotional support to individuals and families grappling with the realities of terminal illnesses. This role requires a sensitive and empathetic approach, as many clients will be navigating grief, anxiety, and complex family dynamics during a transformative phase of life. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for experience in hospice or palliative care environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and delivering effective therapy.
• A commitment to providing ethical, inclusive, and culturally competent care to diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working remotely, preferably in a telehealth environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to efficiently document and track client progress.
• Skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution to address urgent client needs.
• A background in hospice care or support for terminally ill patients is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

In alignment with your experience and expertise, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000.
