To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Fabrication Expeditor located in Dallas, Texas.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Fabrication Expeditor role is responsible for the movement of materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations within the production floor.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What a typical day looks like:

  • Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority
  • Coordinate efficient flow of materials and products throughout the purchasing, manufacturing and assembly process
  • Work with internal departments and vendors to get updated status of materials
  • Inform production supervisors of material status and consult with supervisor to determine how to resolve outstanding materials that could affect production
  • Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas
  • Assists with manufacturing processes, including painting, assembling, and wiring of manufacturing projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse management, or other related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Efficient time management skills
  • General understanding of blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, or engineering diagrams
  • Ability to operate powered equipment (ex. Forklift, reach truck, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
  • Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
