We are seeking an energetic, creative, and responsible STEAM Camp Counselor to join our team! As a counselor, your top priority will be ensuring the safety and well-being of campers while guiding them through engaging hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design, and Math) experiences.
You will help facilitate daily activities, support students as they design and build projects, and foster a fun, collaborative learning environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, loves creativity and technology, and is excited to inspire curiosity through hands-on exploration and making.
Responsibilities:
  • Support and facilitate hands-on STEAM activities, design challenges, and collaborative projects
  • Lead games, team-building activities, and creative learning experiences
  • Assist in creating and maintaining daily and weekly camp schedules tailored to camper age groups and interests
  • Supervise campers and safely escort them between activities and learning stations
  • Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and positive teamwork among campers
  • Set up, organize, maintain, and clean up materials, tools, and camp equipment
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Communicate professionally with parents and camp staff as needed

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children as a camp counselor, teacher assistant, educator, or similar role preferred
  • Interest in STEAM education, making, technology, art, or hands-on learning environments
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of responsibility
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and actively participating in camp activities
