F5, Inc. seeks Engineer III in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Define, collect and interpret product and system requirements. Create system design documents focusing on workflows and interfaces. Design and implement software and services for orchestration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Recommend and maintain technical design methodologies, processes, and standards. Provide technical mentorship to lower level engineers. Participate in hiring, on boarding, and training process. Conduct presentations internally and externally. Consistently meet commitments. Perform other related duties as assigned. Collaborate with other developers within the team or across the team to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Research, test, or verify the proper functioning of software features enhancements and bug fixes. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to the F5 offices is required 25% of the time.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) C and C++; (2) Docker; (3) Java and Javascript; (4) Python; (5) XML and JSON; (6) REST API; (7) MySQL and MongoDB; (8) Agile; (9) JIRA; (10) Git and Perforce; and (11) UNIX and Linux. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to the F5 offices is required 25% of the time.
Salary: $226,138.00 - $232,920.00 per annum.
