Responsible for all testing service activities in accordance with the GHX documented procedures, management of the Mobile Hose Testing Rig, including scheduling of services and supervising supporting Hose Testing Technicians, and ensuring that the Hose Testing Team qualifies for and follows site entry and safety requirements.
Essential Functions
  • perform hose testing services on-site at various customer facilities and in accordance with the GHX documented procedures.
  • Independently use and operate all required test equipment
  • Regularly make suggestions for improvement hose testing services and work on continuous improvement projects for lean, quality and safety
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This position requires extensive travel along the Gulf Coast region between Texas and Louisiana
  • Ability to travel around 50-75% of the year

Experience, Education and Skills
  • High school or equivalent (GED)
  • 3 years industrial shop experience required; 5+ years of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain current required credentials for accessing and working at customer sites (ie. TWIC, site specific and safety training, etc.)
  • Hose Testing Service requires product knowledge of hoses / fittings and an understanding of GHX and customer's hose testing policies and procedures
  • Must be able to successfully function in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Proficiently use of Microsoft office
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
