Advertised Compensation: $67,306 + quarterly bonus

Purpose: The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager oversees the grab-and-go food program within Cleveland International Airport location, ensuring consistent execution, product quality, and exceptional guest service.  
 

Essential Functions: 

  • Oversees daily grab-and-go food operations, owning the end-to-end management of inventory, product presentation, and operational standards across multiple grab-and-go outlets; ensures all products are fresh, properly rotated, and attractively merchandised 

  • Manages ordering, receiving, and vendor coordination to guarantee timely delivery, minimizes waste, and maintains consistent stock levels 

  • Monitors and controls inventory, waste, and shrink to achieve cost and margin goals 

  • Upholds compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and airport regulations 

  • Partners with Culinary, Retail OperatioOns, and Supply Chain teams on product launches and replenishment plans 

  • Analyzes sales performance data to drive continuous improvement 

  • Identifies and resolves operational issues quickly to maintain smooth, efficient service 

  • Promotes brand standards through quality, presentation, and customer experience 

Reporting Relationship & Role Information: 

  • The F&B Manager typically reports to the Director of Operations 

  • This position as described falls under the Fair Labor Standards Act as an Exempt position 

  • This role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays due to business needs and flight schedules 

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: 

Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed5years: 

  • In a leadership role: Requires 2 years of experience supervising a team of operations professionals engaged in executing food or retail service programs 
  • In a technical role: Requires5years of operations experience engaged in developing and delivering store management, merchandising, and customer service programs 
  • Abachelor's degree can count for2of the5-year requirement 
  • Requires food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) 

Specialized Training: 

  • Knowledge of local and federal food safety laws, city/county health inspection requirements, and documentation practices 
  • Understanding of allergen labeling, handwashing protocols, and cross-contamination procedures 

Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits: 

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock rotation; proficient in inventory and stock management systems 
  • Basic financial and P&L awareness (labor, waste, shrink) 
  • Able to review sales, waste, and inventory data to identify improvement opportunities 
  • Direct and proactive communicator who provides exceptional customer service 
  • Business acumen with operations mindsetrequiredto understand the long-term implications of merchandising, inventory management, and customer experience planning to advance organizational goals 
  • Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of F&B and retail business operations, brand partners, landlord stakeholders, the associate population, and individual store circumstances
