Job Description

Operator Associate I Conyers, GA| Now Hiring       

Compensation:

  • $21.03-$22.32 an hour. 

Available Shift:

  • 6:55pm-7:00am ($2.00 shift differential) 

Position Overview:

This role oversees all production equipment with essential duties that include start up and operation of heavy machinery.

In this role, you will ensure that all machinery is running efficiently, producing quality products, and complete minor

mechanical work.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Extrusion experience preferred.
  • Consistently and safely operate thermoforming machines at or above standard levels of operation including
  • safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. This includes packing finished product into bags and boxes.
  • Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the
  • machine.
  • Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Complete appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production
  • quantities.
  • Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects.
  • Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines.
  • Complete the Operator Associate I certification book within the required timeframe as part of the training
  • process.
  • Perform other work-related duties as needed.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Manual Dexterity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hand/eye coordination
  • Math Skills (calculators to determine and record production data)
  • Complete required training/documentation to be a B - Operator within specified time frame.
  • Mechanical aptitude demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal
  • are required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet and work for an entire 12-hour shifts.

Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications):

  • Qualified candidates will have 1 years' experience in a fast-paced production environment with some mechanical
  • knowledge of industrial systems
