Job Description
As an Internal Wholesaler, you will play a critical role on the Internal Sales and Support team focusing on developing and maintaining relationships, in partnership with the external wholesaler, with existing financial advisers in order to sell products, which include mutual funds and annuities.
Execute strategic business coverage by partnering with the external wholesaler to cover assigned territory
• Initiate sales by making personalized proactive outbound calls to financial advisors (50-60 outbond calls per day)
• Exhibit deep knowledge of investments and investment concepts
• Deliver effective presentations to promote the Company
• Use client relationship management (SalesForce) database to track client interactions and the progression of each client relationship.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• FINRA 6, 63, 65 required for this position
o MUST pass the FINRA licensing exams for the 6, 63 within 5 weeks of hire
o MUST pass the FINRA licensing exam for the 65 within 3 attempts
• 2+ years of direct sales experience
• Clear and concise communication with an expertise in adapting to different audiences
• Ability to articulate specific sales strategy and process
• Well-organized with acute attention to detail
