Job description

You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst, Accounting Division, Resource Management, Maritime Headquarters in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.
No PCS costs will be paid.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
  • Conducting complex studies and analyses of accounting operations, financial statements, and other accounting information for a command.
  • Identifying accounting and financial statement requirements of stakeholders and present solution alternatives for selection and approval.
  • Managing the implementation of changes to processes and procedures within the financial management system.
  • Coordinating the review and approval of system accounting change requests, and system upgrades with system providers.
  • Providing expert interpretation of accounting reports, statements, and all other accounting data for a command.
  • Leading internal and external financial reporting initiatives.
  • Managing and Leading Teams/Projects.
