Job description


MRA is seeking a dynamic, detail-driven Senior Accounting & Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated finance professional to contribute to our organization’s financial integrity and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, and executive reporting, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support management decision-making and strategic planning

- Lead the preparation of high-quality, timely financial reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders

- Optimize accounting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy

- Collaborate with auditors during audits and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate

- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures as needed

- Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to manage financial data and reporting functions effectively


Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Proven experience in senior accounting roles with a focus on financial reporting

- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise/QBO & Conversion experience a plus ++

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision

- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities

- Strong communication skills to clearly present financial information to non-financial stakeholders

- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements

- Experience with process improvement and automation in accounting functions
