These positions are located on Columbus campus, Ag Admin building.
Hours are flexible. These positions can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.
Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
The Student Assistant supports the OSU Extension Leadership Team by providing high-quality summaries relating to administrative, project, and programs. Provide detailed summaries based on requests by assisting staff. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive student who enjoys organizing information, coordinating logistics, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The position is based on the Columbus campus in the Agricultural Administration building.
