Description
Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School is seeking a part time Mighty Knights After Care Aide. The Mighty Knights Staff position's primary objective is to provide a safe environment for students that stay late. It is the goal of each member of the staff to provide a positive, productive environment for the students.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
  • Comply with school rules as stated in the Faculty Handbook.
  • Attend beginning of the year training with faculty for OSHA, first aid and other orientation and training.
  • Prepare and distribute a snack for those staying in after school care.
  • Check each student in as they come into the program each day. Be responsible for making sure that a parent or designated person sign the child in/out of the program.
  • Provide a quiet time for students to work on homework in after care.
  • Provide a variety of activities that students may do to engage them during the time they are in cares.
  • Maintain a neat and clean cares room. Keep supplies and snacks organized and neat. All spaces should be neat, organized and cleaned at the end of each school year.
  • Discipline in a fair and respectful manner while encouraging self-discipline.
  • Maintain a polite and respectful relationship with parents.
