Job Description
Clean Harbors, in Dickinson, TX, is hiring for a Facility Technician to join their safety conscious team!

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform tank transfer operations following site procedures and safety protocols
  • Load water trucks and support daily plant operations as needed
  • Assist with feed preparation activities and processing of flow bins in roll-off operations
  • Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, telehandlers, extended boom forklifts, and loaders
  • Inspect equipment prior to use and report any mechanical or safety concerns
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards
  • Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with operations personnel and supervisors to support workflow efficiency
  • Complete additional general labor and operational support tasks as assigned

Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Chemical and Hazardous Waste experience preferred
  • 6+ months forklift experience preferred
  • Mechanically inclined is a plus!
  • Able to follow direction and take initiative
  • Must work well in a team
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions (heat & cold)
  • Must be comfortable wearing proper PPEs
  • Must be fitted for a respirator and clean shaven
  • Must be able to lift to 50lbs, climb ladders, stoop, bend, shovel, sweep and stand for long periods
