Performs all aspects of store operations including bookkeeping, running a cash register, loading, and unloading trucks, transporting merchandise, stocking shelves, receiving, pricing products, ordering products, and performing inventory audits. The Store manager is also responsible for providing the foundation and guidance for employees to achieve maximum success and personal motivation. Manages the department to ensure an unprecedented shopping experience for customers, to promote sales, and to achieve sales budgets, profit margins, and labor goals by focusing on quality, freshness, and customer service.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
• Monitors sales and inventory to determine ordering and pricing for products.
• Adhere to all City, County, and State regulations, policies, laws, and ordinances (i.e. verifying IDs for all age-related product sales).
• Responsible for maintaining overall store appearance.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
