As a Custom Applications Specialist at San Diego Unified School District , you'll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing tailored software solutions for our diverse clientele. FPC Custom Applications Specialist – 
Role Summary Responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting custom applications that enable efficient management of capital programs and facilities operations, with a focus on improving workflows, data management, and system usability.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, configure, and maintain custom applications and workflows supporting project management, financial tracking, and reporting processes.
· Develop and enhance system functionality using available tools and platforms to meet evolving business requirements.
· Collaborate with stakeholders (project management, finance, operations) to gather requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
· Support integration of custom applications with enterprise systems, ensuring accurate and consistent data flow across platforms.
· Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes or enhancements to improve performance and user experience.
· Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, workflows, and user guides.
· Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective adoption and utilization of applications.
Preferred Skills & Experience
· Experience developing or configuring custom enterprise applications or low-code/no-code platforms.
· Familiarity with project/program management or ERP systems.
· Experience with system integrations (APIs, data interfaces, reporting tools).
