Job description

The Business Product Owner Advisor is a member of the technology vertical within the Pharmacy Benefit Services (PBS) Operations Advancement team, supporting Evernorth and its businesses. This team is responsible for defining and delivering the strategic vision for the technology stack (tools and applications) utilized by business teams, such as Sales and Account Management, to power the client-buying journey.

This role will work directly with frontline business users (internal clients) to understand their business processes and identify needs/requirements for the Allego platform within PBS technology stack. The successful candidate will provide platform support, manage user provisioning, and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Allego platform. This role will develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to facilitate issue resolution and remain informed of platform updates, enhancements, and new features. The Business Product Owner (BPO) will partner with training, technology, and software engineering teams to develop a roadmap and implement platform solutions and enhancements.

This role represents the "voice of the customer." The BPO will be responsible for managing and prioritizing incoming requests and the product backlog, ensuring the team focuses on initiatives that maximize business value and deliver critical enhancements and functionality to customers.

Applicants must possess strong business acumen and experience, along with either experience partnering with technology teams or a demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn. They will:

Provide expert content and operational leadership on complex assignments/projects.

Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives, and use professional and business knowledge to advise functional leaders.

Provide thought leadership and execute on broader projects requiring an understanding of larger enterprise goals.

Demonstrate exceptional customer responsiveness and a strong sense of urgency and ownership when resolving issues.

Be recognized internally as "the go-to person" / subject matter expert for one or more tools, platforms, internal groups, or Salesforce record objects.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required

Bachelor's degree preferred

4+ years in a fast-paced SaaS, client services, or Product Owner role

Knowledge of agile methodology

Relationship management experience

Customer adoption experience

Facilitation and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and experience building positive relationships

Demonstrated problem-solving and organization skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well within an ambiguous environment

Highly detail-oriented

Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to work well and contribute independently as well as in a team environment

Product Owner experience or CSPO certification preferred

Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, etc.)

Allego Platform experience is a plus

Project Management experience is a plus

Salesforce experience is a plus

Knowledge of PBM or Healthcare industries is a plus


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,500 - 160,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
