Job description

The Nyle Maxwell SUPERCENTER in Austin, TX has openings for Express Lube / Quick Lube Technicians. We are looking driven individuals to join our Service Department. Our facility is clean, safe and CLIMATE CONTROLLED!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Adhere to express lube guidelines
  • Perform lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints
  • Report all necessary repairs to service consultant
  • Install completed oil change reminder sticker in vehicle
  • Check battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed
  • Rotate and/or balances tires and repair as needed
  • Inspect and replace filters as needed
  • Ensure that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints
  • Check fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels
  • Adhere to all current OSHA guidelines
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards
  • Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements
  • Prior experience as an Express Lube Technician, Automotive Technician or education with an Automotive Technical school preferred
  • A high level of personal motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
