Express Lane Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the operation of express checkout lanes in retail environments, such as grocery stores or supermarkets. Their main duties include ensuring fast and efficient customer service, managing staff assigned to express lanes, and resolving any issues that arise during checkout. They also monitor transaction accuracy, enforce item limits, and help maintain a smooth flow of customers. Job description

LUBE BAY TECHNICIAN Orr Toyota of Searcy | Searcy, AR 72143 | Full-Time | In Person Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour (based on experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Orr Toyota of Searcy is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Lube Bay Technician to join our high-performance service team. In this role, you'll deliver fast, thorough lubrication services while supporting our commitment to a standardized, waste-free workflow. We operate using Toyota Express Maintenance lean principles - meaning every technician plays a key role in keeping our bays moving efficiently and our customers returning with confidence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all lubrication services accurately and efficiently, following a standardized process checklist to ensure consistent quality on every vehicle.
  • Conduct a thorough multi-point inspection on each vehicle - battery, lights, tires, fluid levels, and filters - and communicate all findings to the Service Advisor for upsell or repair opportunity.
  • Receive and process repair orders from the Service Advisor or Production Foreman; move vehicles to the service lift with minimal delay, supporting our target cycle time per vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean, organized bay workspace at all times - tools returned to designated locations, supplies stocked to par levels, and waste disposed of properly. (5S standards apply.)
  • Use materials and supplies efficiently - no overuse or waste. Flag any supply shortages to the Production Foreman before they impact workflow.
  • Operate and inspect all lube equipment including lifts - report any issues immediately to avoid downtime and maintain flow through the service lane.
  • Keep every customer vehicle clean and protected - use seat covers, floor mats, and wipe down all touched surfaces before return.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and contribute to continuous improvement - if you see a problem in the process, speak up. We want your input.
  • Follow all company safety policies and report any accidents or unsafe conditions to a manager immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and good judgment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screening
