Chariot Automotive Group,ย is looking to add a motivated Express Lane Service Advisorย to their dynamic team!ย The Express Lane Service Advisor is one of the most important people in the Service Department. The Express Lane Service Advisors set the tone for the service customer to have a good experience. By greeting them promptly, courteously and with an understanding and caring attitude. The Express Lane Service Advisors are responsible for schedulingย oil changeย work in the express lane service department and for selling additional neededย express productsย to customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone or branch average.
  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner. Let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be helped soon.
  • Schedule and route service daily to maintain maximum shop efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Constantly maintain the daily route sheet, updating status of all vehicles. Keeping it legible and easy to find status of any vehicle.ย 
  • Maintain awareness of all jobs in progress, status of repairs, delays and availability of parts, etc.ย 
  • Help maintain the information needed forย referrals to main shopย repairs andย warranty repairs.
  • Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, using maintenance menus, as well as the Warranty Forever specifications.
  • Obtain customer's signature on repair order; Provide customer with a copy.
  • Follow up progress of each repair order frequently, regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised.
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments promptly and courteously.
  • Deliver vehicle to customer answer any questions.
  • Maintain a positive and caring attitude towards customers, associates and all dealership personnel.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (G.E.D. accepted)
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Some experience in a dealership position is helpful.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • General Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operation
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • The willingness and ability to work in harmony with others.
  • Present himself or herself in a professional manner, in both appearance and actions.
