York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Plainfield has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Express Lane Technician to join our growing service department. As an Express Lane Tech, you’ll be responsible for performing quality maintenance on vehicles; such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid refills.

Responsibilities:
The Express Lane Technician performs routine service inspections and completes standard vehicle maintenance jobs on all makes and models of vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. Our technicians deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Perform vehicle maintenance in accordance with factory guidelines.
● Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacements, and balancing.
● Perform courtesy vehicle inspections, including multi-point inspections.
● Complete all work according to dealership applicable safety requirements and published procedures. Comply with all OSHA and EPA policies.
● Ensure the customer’s vehicle is returned to them as clean as it was prior to being serviced or repaired - Wash vehicles as necessary.
● Actively participate in the Manufacturer's Certification Programs.
● Maintain a clean working environment. Participate in cleaning the group area on a daily basis before departing from work.
● Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.

Qualifications:
● Technician must provider his/her own tools.
● Candidates should be able to lift 75lbs.
● Must be able to safely operate shop equipment.
● Demonstrate the ability to learn and repeat basic mechanical repairs.
● Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, sales associates, and management.
● Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
● Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles
● Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day
