We are seeking an experienced Export Specialist to join our team Freight Forwarding team our Dallas (DFW) office. This role is ideal for professionals with hands‑on experience in air export shipping within a freight forwarding environment who excel in fast‑paced operations and take pride in delivering exceptional service.

Experience utilizing CargoWise (CW1) is a requirement for this position.

This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously. Travel between local facilities is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage air export shipments from booking to final delivery
  • Determine the most efficient routing and carrier solutions based on customer requirements
  • Work directly with airlines, truckers, and third‑party logistics partners
  • Communicate with customers throughout the entire shipment cycle
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, TSA, and all relevant regulations
  • Manage documentation, billing, and shipment visibility
  • Support international customers and internal teams across multiple time zones
  • Maintain strong attention to detail while working quickly and accurately
  • Meet all safety, compliance, and quality standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management

What We’re Looking For

  • Required: Proven Air Export shipping experience in a freight forwarding environment
  • Strong understanding of international transportation and compliance practices
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and customer needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred: Experience with CargoWise (CW1)
  • Ability to meet all TSA background requirements

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required; post‑secondary education preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of freight forwarding experience (Air Export strongly preferred)
