Job description

ABR is recruiting for Welders for a client in Wausau! These are DIRECT HIRE positions, but the contract is through the end of the year and possibly longer.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., currently working OT; normal hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay is $20-$30 per hour based on experience.
Flux core/MIG welding
The company provides mechanical contracting, fabrication, installation, and repair services nationwide including: material conveyance systems, dust collection systems, spray dryer, food and dairy industry, mining, pollution control, wood and paper, deflagration (explosion protection) systems, and fluid beds.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of welding experience
  • Intelligence, self-directed, think on their feet; ability to travel because they do work out in the field, but it’s not a lot of travel.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience working with stainless steel is desired, but not required.
  • Must be a self-starter
