The incumbent will lead the delivery of comprehensive CC&B solutions across large-scale utility in North America. The incumbent's expertise will be instrumental in aligning technology with complex business processes, ensuring seamless customer care and billing including meter to cash experiences for our stakeholders. What You Will Do
  • Lead end-to-end Oracle CC&B implementations including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Setup, configure including customize CC&B modules such as Rates & Billing, Payments, Credit Collections, Customer Management, and Metering / Device management to meet specific business needs.
  • Customer Engagement: collaborate closely to translate business processes and goals into effective Oracle CC&B configurations and solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems (e.g: AWM; GIS; Payments; ERP; Bill Presentment, MDM etc) using secure and efficient protocols.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the project teams and facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and uphold high-quality project documentation ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver seamless and impactful implementations.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and integration of Oracle CC&Bsolutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for Oracle CC&B implementation and ensure successful system adoption.
  • Work closely with business users to understand their requirements, lead workshops, i.e. design thinking and translate them into Oracle CC&B solutions.
  • Design solutions for customer care, billing, collections, and related functionalities to ensure operational efficiency.
Who You Are Required
  • Related University degree or Technical Diploma in IT, Engineering, or related subject area.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oracle CC&B as a Solution Architect or Senior Consultant, leading multiple end-to-end implementations.
  • Good understanding of utility industry processes and how they translate into CC&B functionalities.
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and customizing CC&B modules.
  • Knowledge of integration methodologies and experience working with third-party platforms.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, lead design thinking workshop / process mapping, manage expectations, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Over 7+ years of experience in leading, solutioning and implementation of the solutions with Systems integrators.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on system performance and client satisfaction.
Preferred
  • Oracle Utilities certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects within the utilities or public sector is highly desirable.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with some travel requirements.
  • Work in a virtual team environment with frequent interactions with team members located in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Chicago and Houston.
  • Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible and decisions affect all integrated processes associated with new or changed business or operations.
Physical Requirements

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to work in tight spaces.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
