Job description

The On-Site Barn & Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance and operations of equine facilities and short-term rental properties, ensuring smooth daily functions and top-quality customer experiences. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time role requires on-call availability and leadership of a medium-sized team of 6-15 employees. Accommodations are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Overall horse care for up to 150 horses
  • Maintain and repair barn and equine facilities
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of 6-15 staff members
  • Oversee budgeting and expense management for facility operations
  • Ensure upkeep and maintenance of equipment and property grounds
  • Manage customer relations and address client needs related to horse care
  • Coordinate facility use for short-term rentals

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in horse care and staff management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and desire to grow the business including hospitality and tourism
