INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Freelance National Manager, Experiential Marketing to join our growing team! We don't just look for fresh talent, we look for fresh thinkers.

OVERVIEW
As a core member of INNOCEAN'S Experiential Department, the National Manager leads a cross departmental team to ensure the delivery of experiential and sponsorship marketing projects with high quality service, so that all client needs are met on time, on scope and on budget.
The National Manager will support the GA team and oversee multiple experiential programs across high profile events for General Accounts. This role will focus on the development, planning, and execution of experiential strategies and onsite activations for key properties such as consumer engagement events, ride & drive programs, auto shows, festivals, dealer events, and additional initiatives as assigned.
Primary responsibilities include leading the experiential team in pre-event strategy and concept development, budgeting, on site execution, and post event reporting. The National Manager will collaborate closely with cross functional agency teams and serve as a key client contact, ensuring seamless day to day program management and exceptional service delivery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the day to day management of experiential programs and internal teams, ensuring high quality service delivery for the clients
• Serve as a strategic advisor by developing short and long term experiential and sponsorship activation strategies aligned with clients' marketing objectives
• Take ownership of building the client's business through new ideas, proactive planning, and anticipating integrated marketing needs.
• Manage the execution of all projects by overseeing internal workflows, agency resources, vendor partners, and cross department collaboration.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the client's business and relevant industry/category trends.
• Build and nurture positive, collaborative relationships with all client stakeholders.
• Ensure cross department teams deliver work that meets the highest standards-strategically aligned, creatively strong, and flawlessly executed.
• Provide guidance and counsel to team members and clients as programs evolve.
• Develop, manage, track, and reconcile project budgets.
• Contribute to staffing plans, budget projections, and resource allocations.
• Play an active role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative agency culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A passion for experiential marketing and activation
• Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in a project management and client service role in an agency with a focus on experiential marketing activations
• Previous experience working on an automotive account would be an asset
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking with the ability to build programs from concept through to execution
• Ability to advise and mentor on the event execution processes
• Solid understanding and ability to apply integrated marketing strategies
• Track record of building strong long term client relationships
• Pension to drive for results and highest quality standards
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to keep composure in high pressure situations
• Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning
• Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
• Proficient in MS office
• Ability to travel up to 30% for event planning and on site program execution

The salary range is $90,000 - $95,000.
Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
