Job Summary
We are looking for an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our busy repair shop who can maintain, repair, and diagnose diesel-powered vehicles and machinery such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, and farm implements. The ideal candidate is mechanically proficient, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team to ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and meet customer expectations. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Diagnose engine and vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and traditional mechanical methods 
  • Perform preventive maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid service, and routine inspections 
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
  • Conduct field visits for emergency or breakdown repairs 
  • Create repair estimates and timelines
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with safety standards 
  • Collaborate with other repair team members to coordinate work, share expertise, and meet service schedules 
  • Keep accurate records of parts used, labor hours, and completed work 

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 Years Diesel Mechanic Experience 
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems 
  • Proficiency with diagnostic and repair tools 
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment
