Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist
Reports To: Director of Community Engagement


Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Community Engagement Specialist to spearhead growth initiatives. The Community Engagement Specialist will be instrumental in enhancing brand awareness, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving patient referrals to our facility. This role demands a proactive individual with a strategic mindset and a proven track record in business development within the healthcare or behavioral health sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Market Expansion:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive quarterly business plan to increase market share and drive facility growth. Regularly review and adjust strategies to meet evolving market dynamics.
  • Referral Development & Relationship Management:
    Establish and nurture relationships with key referral sources, including clinicians, judicial systems, hospitals, and community organizations. Implement targeted outreach strategies to expand the referral network.
  • Salesforce CRM Management:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring a minimum of 15 daily logged contacts, 2 scheduled meetings, and 85 weekly activities. Utilize CRM data to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Community Engagement & Education:
    Represent Footprints to Recovery at industry events, conferences, and community outreach programs. Conduct presentations and facility tours to educate potential referral sources and the community about our services.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development activities. Provide regular reports to leadership, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration & Team Engagement:
    Participate in weekly team calls and coaching sessions. Collaborate with the Director of Business Development and leadership to align strategies and achieve organizational goals.
  • Budget Management & Compliance:
    Adhere to the monthly marketing budget and submit expense reports via Expensify. Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience in public relations or a health-related field may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 1 to 3 years in public relations, communications, or a health-related field. Experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • Knowledge of state and federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws.
    • Understanding of addiction treatment and the 12-Step Recovery Program.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
