SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in the completion of the month-end process. Prepare standard month-end journal entries, including amortization of prepaid assets and intercompany transactions.
  • Upload Month-end Journal Entries.
  • Prepare Month-end reports.
  • Calculated credits for unfilled nursing hours.
  • Prepare month end Balance Sheet recons as assigned.
  • Review and post GL uploads of claims, pharmacy, and credit card bills.
  • Prepare Over/Under Reconciliations
  • Payroll expense Analysis.
  • Prepare various payroll and management reports, journal entries, workers compensation and reconcile quarterly payroll taxes.
  • Assist the Controller with quarterly/annual local tax filings and annual report.
  • Contract reconciliations. Review monthly pools/caps in preparation for invoicing and month end close.
  • Assist in preparation and upload of 1099’s.
  • Miscellaneous projects or reports as required by management.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5+ years experience in Accounting, Finance or related experience required
  • Sage Intacct experience is a must
  • Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skills.
