Job description

The International Logistics and Expediting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments of materials, equipment, and components to support production, project execution, and business operations at our Mills, WY office. This position manages freight logistics, customs documentation, import/export compliance, and supplier expediting activities to ensure materials arrive on schedule and in compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, freight coordination, and logistics operations (Ocean, Air, Rail, Truck and Multimodal Transportation).
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs compliance requirements, Trade Compliance and Incoterms.
• Have used Harmonized System (HS Codes)- Internationally traded products have a code.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting critical deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems and shipment tracking software.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain professionalism with high attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and accuracy in all work deliverables.
