Required Experience:
- 10+ years of applied experience in a high-paced environment.
- Strong experience in expediting best practices, including tracking equipment and materials against project and construction schedules.
- Experience reviewing vendor fabrication schedules, inspection and test plans, inspection reports and purchase order documentation to identify and mitigate delays.
- Experience managing vendor documentation such as drawings, RFIs, Inspection Test Plans, Weld Procedure Specifications and final vendor data requirements.
- Experience coordinating with engineering, project teams, contractors, quality teams and logistics stakeholders.
- Excellent working knowledge of expediting, logistics, purchasing and project document requirements.
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up effectively and work to conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify potential delays, escalate issues appropriately and support resolution of commercial and technical concerns.
- Ability to organise and maintain electronic records to support timely purchase order or contract closeout activities.
- Working knowledge of engineering and vendor documentation.
- Post-secondary education in a related field such as Project Management, Purchasing / Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or Commerce.
