Project Expeditor

We are seeking an experienced Project Expeditor to support industrial capital projects by ensuring materials, equipment, and vendor deliverables remain on schedule. This role serves as the primary liaison between suppliers, project teams, and fabrication facilities to monitor production milestones, expedite deliveries, and communicate project status.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects within chemical, refining, manufacturing, power generation, or other heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute expediting plans for assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and fabrication facilities.
  • Monitor supplier production schedules and fabrication progress.
  • Track vendor documentation, material status, and equipment deliveries.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and project management teams.
  • Ensure suppliers meet contractual delivery commitments.
  • Identify schedule risks and develop recovery plans when necessary.
  • Provide regular updates on fabrication status, vendor documentation, and shipping progress.
  • Expedite long-lead equipment and critical project materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor performance and project status.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement and expediting procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of project expediting experience.
  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, EPC, or capital projects.
  • Strong supplier and vendor management skills.
  • Experience monitoring fabrication schedules and material deliveries.
  • Working knowledge of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
