PMA is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to oversee the organization's information technology environment and support the technology needs of our clinical and administrative operations. The IT Manager is responsible for the reliability, security, maintenance, and continued development of PMA's technology infrastructure. This position works closely with executive leadership, employees, healthcare partners, vendors, and outside technology providers to ensure technology effectively supports the organization's operational and strategic needs.  General Responsibilities:

Manage and support PMA's technology environment, including servers, networks, workstations, telecommunications, software, cloud services, printers, scanners, and other technology systems.

Coordinate end-user support and help desk services, including troubleshooting, equipment deployment, user access, and escalation of technical issues Work with CEO to define business requirements for new technology implementations. 

Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. 

Negotiate and administer vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements. 

Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems. 

Oversee IT operations and infrastructure across multiple PMA locations, ensuring systems remain reliable, secure, and appropriately maintained.   

Manage Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, user accounts, permissions, licensing, and related services.

Manage and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VPN connectivity, and internet services.

Oversee server and virtualization infrastructure and coordinate system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, backup, and recovery.

Support PMA's clinical and administrative applications and coordinate technical requirements with electronic health record and other healthcare technology partners.

Oversee cybersecurity technologies and practices, including endpoint protection, email security, identity and access management, security monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.

Work with the CEO and organizational leadership to evaluate business requirements, technology needs, risks, and proposed IT initiatives.

Plan and coordinate technology projects, system implementations, upgrades, infrastructure replacements, and other IT initiatives.

Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, managed service providers, telecommunications providers, and other outside partners.

Manage technology purchasing, licensing, warranties, service agreements, equipment inventory, and lifecycle planning.

Assist with development and management of the IT budget and provide recommendations regarding technology expenditures and investments.

Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, system documentation, and business continuity information.

Ensure critical administrative credentials, system access, and recovery information are securely maintained and available to authorized organizational leadership.

Assist the organization in maintaining appropriate technology safeguards and practices consistent with HIPAA and other applicable security and privacy requirements.

Communicate technology issues, risks, recommendations, and project status clearly to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Stay current with evolving technologies, cybersecurity risks, and healthcare technology requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of related work experience. 

Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards. 

Extensive application support experience. 

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, networking, servers, workstations, and business applications.

Working knowledge of network technologies including firewalls, switching, wireless networking, VPNs, and internet connectivity.

Experience supporting business-critical applications and working with software vendors and outside technology providers.

Familiarity with virtualization, cybersecurity, endpoint protection, identity and access management, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.

Healthcare IT experience and familiarity with HIPAA security requirements preferred.

Electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred.

Experience coordinating technology projects, vendors, purchasing, and competing operational priorities.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and nontechnical users.

Strong organizational skills, initiative, attention to detail, and customer-service orientation.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership, employees, vendors, and external partners.

Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. 

Strong understanding of project management principles. 

Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
