About the Role
Join our team at Sentara Therapy Center Belleharbour where we're dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a welcoming and professional environment. We're looking for a motivated Clinical Exercise Specialist to design and implement individualized exercise programs that empower patients to reach their health and wellness goals.
This role works under the direct supervision of a licensed leader and plays a vital part in providing quality exercise therapy and health education - helping patients feel supported, safe, and confident every step of the way.
What You'll Do
Administer exercise therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Develop, establish, and continuously update individualized exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs. Provide health education to patients in a safe, professional, and encouraging setting.
Maintain productive and efficient daily operations within the clinic.
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology
BLS certification required within 90 Days of Hire
