Job Title:            Exercise, Fitness and Health Coach at The Exercise Coach
Pay Rate:           $17-$20/hour.                We have openings in our Libertyville and Park Ridge, IL studios.
At The Exercise Coach we are passionate about delivering effective and efficient, science-based Personal Training.  We are not a gym. We specialize in one-on-one and semi-private personal training, by appointment only, in a small, clean, and private setting.
Our passion is to inspire and empower people to overcome the six most common excuses for not exercising regularly:
·         I don’t have time.
·         I don’t know what to do when I go to a gym.
·         I don’t like big, crowded gyms, where I have to wait in line to use equipment.
·         I am afraid of getting hurt.
·         I am in such bad shape; I am embarrassed to be seen at a gym.
·         I don’t like to exercise (but I know I need to exercise).
We utilize unique, proprietary technology (Exerbotics.com) that gives our Clients instant feedback during each session, and the ability to track their progress over time with an app for their phone.
Our program enables our Clients to get all the exercise they need in only 20 minutes, twice a week.  We know it can be hard to understand how that is possible, which is why we always offer 2 free, no-obligations sessions to allow new prospects the opportunity to experience this efficient method of exercise.
Our #1 priority is Client safety; everything we do is very slow and controlled.  And we save our Clients considerable time and money compared to hiring a personal trainer.
Our #1 requirement for Coaching candidates is that they have the ability to engage in conversation very naturally and comfortably with people ages 15 – 90+.  Prior fitness experience is not required, but if you have a degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science, that would be a plus.  Our Franchise in-house certification program will give you all the tools you need to be a highly effective Certified Exercise Coach.
We are looking for: 1) Communication skills, enthusiasm, and positive attitude; 2) People skills and personality; 3) Passion for health and fitness.
Successful candidates will complete The Exercise Coach Certification Program, the Nutrition Playbook Certification Program, CPR/AED certification from our preferred provider, and you will shadow experience Coaches until we determine you are ready for final review and Certification.  You will be paid for all training hours, and all scheduled hours (not just when coaching Clients).  Must be eligible to work in the USA.
The Exercise Coach Franchise has more than 225 studios open in the USA.  We were the 1st Franchisees of The Exercise Coach, 15 years ago.  We now own and operate studios in Libertyville, Palatine, Arlington Heights, and Park Ridge, IL.  We will be adding two new lines of business later this year and expect significant growth and opportunities for our Team.
Interested candidates should email Kevin Coleman at: kevin.coleman@exercisecoach-usa.com.
