Wellness Center Clerk -Decatur, IL
This is a Part-Time position that will not have the flexibility to become Full-Time
Hours: 4:15 AM to 7:00 or 8:00 AM Monday - Friday
At least one Saturday per month. Hours: 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM
Position Summary:
The Wellness Center Clerk is responsible for assisting with all operations at the ADM Wellness Center including, but not limited to, facility and equipment maintenance and wellness center clerical tasks and communications.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Follow best practices in wellness center operations
  • Perform routine, non-technical cleaning and maintenance of equipment
  • Monitor safety/security of all wellness center users
  • Assist wellness management in special projects and daily clerical tasks
Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of fitness facilities, equipment, and operations
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Analytical skills, problem solving ability, attention to detail and people management skills
  • Ability to work alone or in a team environment, with various types of people
  • Ability to adapt to varying work environments
  • Certified CPR/AED preferred
  • Background/experience in exercise science or fitness is desired
  • Personal training and/or group exercise instruction is potential in this position, depending on background and experience
