Job description

This is a part-time/ full-time, traveling role for a Special Needs Fitness Trainer located in Sacramento/ Stockton, CA. The Special Needs Fitness Trainer will implement fitness programs tailored to individuals with special needs, lead group exercise sessions, provide one-on-one fitness instruction, and create an inclusive and supportive environment. Responsibilities also include monitoring progress, ensuring safety during exercises, and collaborating with clients and their families to achieve fitness goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and program design, with a passion for helping special needs clients (Autism/down syndrome etc.) achieve their fitness goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a professional environment providing personalized training sessions and group fitness classes to diverse clientele. Candidates should have experience in personal training, sports coaching, and fitness sales, along with excellent teaching skills to motivate and educate special needs clients of all levels.
