Discover. Achieve. Succeed. Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: M-F 715-345p Holidays: rotating call Weekends: rotating call

Job Summary: The clinicians functioning as Exercise Physiologists are responsible for orienting, monitoring and evaluating patients receiving either Exercise Myocardial Perfusion or Pharmacologic stress tests. The clinicians are also responsible for maintaining good flow for all tests in order to minimize wait time for all patients.

Education Description: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field is required.

Special Skills Description: Knowledge of basic 12 lead ECG, arrhythmia recognition.

Licensure Description: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months of hire. ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification is preferred.
