The specialist performs maximal and submaximal graded exercise tests, and develops and administer programs designed to enhance aerobic endurance, cardiovascular function, muscular strength and endurance and, balance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Physical or Occupational Therapy or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Certification as a Clinical Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- BLS certified
- One (1) year experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information. Basic computer skills (including opening/reading email, basic internet use).
- Thorough knowledge of cardiac exercise programs and exercise science.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians and managers. Works efficiently and organizes time appropriately.
