JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide professional massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other therapeutic techniques based on client needs.
  • Conduct client consultations to assess physical condition, medical history, and specific concerns prior to treatment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment space in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout each session by explaining procedures, adjusting techniques, and responding to feedback.
  • Keep accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and any relevant observations.
  • Recommend appropriate spa products and wellness practices to enhance guests' at-home care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry techniques and certifications.
  • Collaborate with other spa team members to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
  • Valid state massage therapy license or certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical environment preferred, but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • In-depth knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
