Why This Role Matters

Strategic wellbeing programs require more than program execution-they demand comprehensive vision, C-suite engagement, and the ability to design initiatives that reflect diverse workforce needs. As our client-dedicated Health & Wellbeing Program Manager, you'll own the full wellbeing strategy from design through delivery, building a culture of health that drives measurable behavior change and engagement. You'll partner with client leadership and HR teams to leverage community partnerships, customize platform experiences, and lead Wellness Champion Networks that extend wellbeing reach across the organization. Your ability to present data-driven insights to C-suite leaders, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and adapt programs for diverse populations directly determines whether employees see wellbeing as meaningful opportunity or a corporate checkbox.

This is a full-time hybrid position with a required 3 days on-site supporting Rochester Regional Health-Riedman Campus in Irondequoit.

What You'll Actually Do

Lead comprehensive wellbeing strategy: Provide direction and subject matter expertise in defining, designing, developing, communicating, and executing strategic health and wellbeing plans that build culture of health and drive behavior change.

Manage program execution: Utilize project management skills to develop and execute health and wellbeing programs according to timeline and budget while coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Serve as wellbeing partner: Act as integrated partner and the face of wellbeing to client population, guiding members to appropriate resources and programs across the full health services suite.

Drive platform expertise: Serve as Personify Health platform expert with deep knowledge of customizing local platform experiences, delivering custom engagement initiatives, and conducting product demos to drive enrollment.

Partner with client leadership: Engage with client leadership, stakeholders, and internal groups (Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Resource Groups) to build and support culture of health at executive levels.

Leverage community partnerships: Build relationships with community partners to support client goals including social determinants of health, diversity and inclusion, and holistic wellbeing initiatives.

Collaborate with vendors: Work with Personify Health and client's health plan and vendor partners to identify health awareness opportunities and drive utilization of benefits and wellbeing programs.

Lead Wellness Champion Network: Launch and manage Wellness Champion Network that extends wellbeing reach and engagement across the organization.

Implement health promotion programs: Lead execution of health promotion initiatives including health screenings, flu shots, and open enrollment events.

Deliver strategic insights: Conduct regular data assessment and reporting to internal and external stakeholders and C-suite leadership, defining opportunities, tracking impact, and determining next steps.

Monitor and optimize programs: Evaluate program measurements and participant feedback including operations and quality to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve goals.

Navigate global diversity: Work confidently with potentially global population, understanding cultural nuances and adapting wellbeing programs to meet diverse workforce needs.

 

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Team

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in health promotion or health-related field (public health, community health, nutrition, exercise physiology)
  • Master's degree in Public Health or related field preferred
  • Public health certification (CHES, NWI, Chapman Institute) preferred
  • 5+ years experience in health and wellbeing fields
  • 5+ years corporate environment experience preferred
  • Experience working with incentive programs preferred
  • Working knowledge of Personify Health platform and systems/tools preferred
  • Health plan experience preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
  • Outstanding presentation abilities for all organizational levels including C-Suite leadership via multiple modalities (virtual and in-person)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen with ability to operate in matrixed environment managing multiple stakeholders and decision makers
  • Data assessment and reporting capabilities with ability to translate findings into strategic recommendations
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to create impactful, engaging content

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. You're eligible for our full benefits package starting day one.
