Job Description:
Seeking an Exercise Physiologist to serve as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist at Saint Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes. This is a casual, as-needed position. In addition to other duties, this employee and will assist with cardiac stress testing, with the potential for training and completing PFT testing.
Education Qualifications:
  • Completion of an exercise physiology program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services.
  • Involved in the ongoing development of these programs.
  • Conduct Stress Tests

This position is a casual/PRN position, intended to fill in PTOs, Leaves and open shifts. Available hours would fall Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. No weekend or holiday requirements.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
  • BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • ACSM Certification at the exercise specialist level within 12 months of employment
  • OR a current RN license in MN with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 12 months.
