Job description

Join a dedicated healthcare team as an Exercise Physiologist providing patient and family-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings across the Midwest region. This role emphasizes best practices and relationship-based care while upholding professional standards from the American Society of Exercise Physiologists and nursing guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures such as ECG, rhythm strips, treadmill and nuclear stress tests, and echocardiograms under physician supervision.
- Collect relevant cardiopulmonary histories and maintain accurate departmental and productivity records.
- Participate as a member of cardiac fast response teams.
- Edit and review ECG and stress test reports according to policy.
- Interact directly with patients and physicians regarding event recorder data.
- Promote a safe environment focused on patient safety.
- Adhere to departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
Fiscal Responsibilities:
- Use time and resources efficiently.
- Support scheduling and supply management to ensure quality and cost-effective care.
- Document patient charges accurately and timely.
Quality and Teamwork:
- Engage in continuous quality improvement and data collection.
- Assist in participant assessments and individualized care planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes.

- ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C)
- ASEP Board Certified Exercise Physiologist (EPC)
